Oh, hello!
You must certainly have stumbled across my blog thanks to my impertinent American cousin (by marriage, thrice removed), Atherton Bartelby. However, as I only agreed (under considerable duress, I might add), to enter the online world in order to guest blog over at my cousin’s blog during his numerous and frequent periods of…er…”convalescence”, you’d really best stick to reading him. After all, he, as he is rather overly fond of claiming, is “a rock star living large in Paradise,” whereas I, as he is also rather overly fond of claiming, am “a tired lecturer who only made it out of the Renaissance successfully when he drank too many G&Ts at one Wadham party and vomited on the girl he fancied at the time”.
Or, again, to put it more succinctly (my cousin always was too wordy; his college tutors were always telling him to cut back on his extraneous verbiage), best stick to reading him.
